Fine Art Painter Ula Nero
​
Born under the heavy hand of communism in Bialystok, Poland, Ula was no stranger to suppression. Combating this, art became Ula's outlet for self-expression. As Ula matured her art did as well- eventually taking her to university.
Professionally trained at Panstowa Szkola Sztuk Plastyczynch in Suprasl, Poland, Ula's efforts earned her Fine Arts Diploma in Graphic Design where she was awarded solo exhibits at the prestigious Dom Jansena and Palace Buchholtz.
Focusing on the visual arts, Ula draws inspiration from the world around her. New inspirations include brightly colored abstract, funky animal portraits, and vivid and loose landscapes.
Having lived in Eastern Europe, the United Kingdom, NYC, rural farms in the Upper Delaware River region Pennsylvania, with travels throughout Europe, Asia, the Caribbean islands, and the US only further enhance her vision.
Ula Nero Art uses mediums such as acrylics, colored pencils, pastels, and mixed media. While working Ula becomes one with the canvas- brushes and pencils aside Nero pours her soul onto the canvas manipulating the medium with her hands, sponges, and knives.
Ula currently resides in Mukilteo, Washington United States, and can be found working on a new and exciting series. Be sure to check back!
